Beaches of Spetses

Spetses offers a wide variety of beaches for every taste — crystal-clear waters, organised beaches, and hidden gems in remote locations all around the island. Many beaches are also accessible by boat from Dapia.

Beaches of Spetses

Main beaches

  • Agia Marina

    Agia Marina

About 10 minutes from Dapia, Agia Marina has evolved into a luxurious organised beach offering watersports, restaurants and bars. Crystal-clear waters with a sandy beach and a rocky seabed.

  • Agia Paraskevi

    Agia Paraskevi

With its picturesque church, considered by many the most beautiful beach on the island. Pine trees reaching the sea, large pebbles and dreamy waters. An organised beach with sunbeds and beach bar, accessible by bus and boat.

  • Agioi Anargyroi

    Agioi Anargyroi

The longest beach on Spetses. A variety of sand and small pebbles, organised with watersports, bar and restaurant. Accessible by boat and the bus line from the town beach of Agios Mamas.

  • Agios Mamas

    Agios Mamas

The town beach of Spetses, next to the main harbour, is preferred by locals. Easily accessed, sandy, and provides an accessibility ramp for people with movement difficulties — the ramp works with a remote control provided by the Municipality of Spetses on request.

  • Agios Nikolas

    Agios Nikolas

A small town beach en route to the Old Harbour and amongst old mansions, ideal for a quick swim — either from the beach or from the small pier on the side.

  • Anastasi

    Anastasi

Next to the magenta-coloured church. Although unorganised, the serenity of sitting under the eucalyptus trees makes it an excellent choice for a quiet swim.

  • Zogeria

    Zogeria

Zogeria's main beach is in a small bay, organised with a traditional taverna open in summer. Sandy beach, turquoise waters and surrounding pine forest — many visitors' favourite. The larger bay is mostly accessed by boat.

  • Xilokeriza

    Xilokeriza

On the uninhabited side of the island, just before Agioi Anargyroi. Bus stop at the top of the beach, on the central road. An organised beach with small white pebbles and crystal-clear waters.

  • Kaiki

    Kaiki

At the entrance of the Anargirios School. An organised and easily accessed beach with a rocky seabed. Ideal for a day at the beach with music, dancing, beach volley and watersports.

  • Scholes

    Scholes

The beach in front of the Anargirios School. No longer organised, but always full of locals and mostly children who enjoy the sandy beach and jumping off the pier.

  • Tsakonas

    Tsakonas

After Agia Paraskevi, in a remote bay. Requires a hike to access on foot; best accessed by private boat. Its beauty makes the effort worth it.
