Public-law entities operating under the auspices of the Municipality of Spetses, with autonomous administration and a board term that runs in parallel with the municipal term.
Municipal Daycare Centre
The Municipal Daycare Centre of Spetses was founded in 1943 and is one of the first such facilities to have operated in Greece. During the difficult period of the German occupation, it was able to provide meals for a significant number of children. Since 2001 it has been a Public Law Entity operating under the Municipality's auspices.
It accommodates up to fifty (50) children aged 2½ to 4 years, providing a daily meal in line with hygiene and safety standards. Following modern early-childhood education practice, it supports the transition of children from the family to the school environment.

Centre for Culture, Sport and the Environment
A Public Law Entity established by FEK 3217/B/30-11-2011, headquartered at the Spetses Town Hall. It is governed by a seven-member (7) board under Municipal Council Decision 35/2020.
In the President's absence or impediment, the Vice-President substitutes. Members' terms run with the municipal term and end when a new board is seated.
