Joint Ministerial Decision — Electronic platform for shoreline simple-use applications

Published in the Government Gazette, Issue Two, No. 283 / 26 January 2026, Decision no. 11996 EX 2026 of the Ministers of National Economy and Finance — Digital Governance, titled "Establishment and operation of an electronic application (platform) for the submission of applications for the concession of simple use of part of the shoreline or beach to an adjacent enterprise or sailing club".

The decision was issued in implementation of Law 5092/2024 "Terms for the use of public property in coastal areas" (Government Gazette A’ 33), in particular Article 11 thereof, as well as the provisions of Law 4727/2020 on Digital Governance and the GDPR (EU) 2016/679.

The new electronic procedure applies to adjacent businesses and sailing clubs and regulates both the submission of the application and the supporting documents.
