Boats travel daily and frequently from Piraeus Port and Gate E8 to Spetses with interim stops at Poros- Hydra- Ermioni. Depending on the route, your journey to Spetses takes 2 to 3 hours.

If you are driving down by car or taxi, the route for Spetses takes you to the coast of Costa and is about a 3 hour drive from Athens or the airport.
You drive down the Athens- Corinth National Road and after the Corinth Isthmus you follow the signs for Epidaurus and then follow towards Kranidi, Porto Heli and Spetses, by taking a right at the crossroad and an immediate left under the bridge.
Following the road up Epidaurus and the Didima Mountains, you‘ll arrive at Kranidi and, from its peripheral road, you arrive at Porto Heli. Following the sea road to your left for about 5 km, you will arrive at Costa.
There is a private car park for your car (tel: 27540 57256) and we remind you that cars are not allowed on Spetses. There are three ways to cross the 10 minute journey to Spetses, varying speed and cost, but it is important to note that communication with the island never ceases.
The daily trips of the Ferry Boat are:
Spetses – Costa: 07:20-10:00-13:00-16:30
Costa- Spetses: 08:00-10:30-13:30-17:00
In August an extra morning trip is added at:

For those with a resident’s or professional license, vehicles are allowed to pass onto the island on specific routes and under specific regulations. For any further inquiries, please contact the Municipality Office.
The Spetses Express speed boat departs to and from Spetses almost every half an hour during the summer season and the trip lasts about 15 mins.

The sea taxis run 24 hours and are able to travel in the worst weather conditions, guaranteeing that you will always be able to reach Spetses or the mainland. The sea taxis are found both at the coast of Costa and the main port of Spetses, while they are also able to transport you to other parts of the island or even the mainland.

Daily buses from the Central Kifissos Bus Station (KTEL) travel to Kranidi in Argolida, where there is a corresponding bus to Costa that also corresponds to the ferry boat route to Spetses.
